krop football

Mira has since moved on to take over programs at South Miami and Westminster Christian, and little known David Hudson is now in charge of a team that relied on defense, a tremendous sophomore kicker, Ricardo Perez, and an offense that put just enough points on the board to post an 8-4 record in a district where Carol City and North Miami Beach started the season as huge favorites. What Hudson has done with this year's Krop team is teach, organize and get the most out of every athlete on the roster. Krop has won the games that most felt it had little chance to win, and lost a few that it should have won. But that's what puts them in a place some 30 other Miami-Dade schools would love to be in this Friday night.
krop has worked hard for the pass couple of years to get were they are today. right now everybody is doubting krop to lose the game. miramar has the offense but krop doesn't but what they do have is the defense to hold them off but the fact is we don't know what can happen i mean it's football so i believe if krops football team does what they have to do that they'll be ok and be enough to get that win an move on to getting that title.

krop football

The last time Dr. Michael Krop High's football program made it three rounds deep in the state playoffs in 2001, the school was just two years old like this season, many picked the Lightning to finish last in the district. While Joe Mira surprised everyone by finishing second in the 5A district, surprising Stranahan and McArthur in the first two rounds, that third-round game, much like this week at Miramar, was against a very good Blanche Ely program with record-setting running back Tyrone Moss. The Lighting lost that game, but managed to put up a good battle.
krop has always been a good school and always had tremendous athletes especially on the football side. but i guess since the football team never had it's shining moment out of all these years everybody thought that it was just a highschool in the dark. but now since they're getting all this publicity a lot of hypocrites want to show their care well personally the team has been on it's own since and can stand by themselves this very day.
they boys are turning this season into something they'll never forget in their very lives and proving to everyone else that things change and doesn't have to be the way they are. for krop every athlete dreams of a second chance but the young student athletes lived it. not alot people can say or do that. that's why it's something to always cherish.

highschool football

On a team with very few recognizable names, one person does stand out to those who have followed football in the region. First-year defensive coordinator Earl Little moved in this year after spending time at Central. The one time NFL and University of Miami standout defensive back knows a little about this district. He starred at North Miami before heading on to a brilliant career in college and professionally.
krop has managed to shock a lot of people this year by making to the third round of the playoffs because they were expecting to finish last in the district. a lot of players seemed to have made a big effort and making some big plays to get them the wins that they needed. right now those players are having a hell of a season and no one knows when it's going to end.
as for now they play miramar high next and i believe it's going to be a challenge because they've only lost one game so far and krop is next on their list to play. hopefully all goes well because no one would want that winning streak to go at an end now. krop plays this friday and lets hope that their going on their seventh straight win and see if their heading to the state championships.

krop vs jackson

krop hasn't lost to jackson in four years but i guess this year both teams came with their competitive side. but the question is which one came with the most strength to win. so the game started and krops defenses was holding on severely because as remembered krop was being talked about in the news and was expected to lose the game but little did jackson know that krop was coming to play with all day had.
so it came to the second quarter and the score was 14-0 jackson was losing but it seemed that during the second half the coach gave an amazing speech to boost the players up so that they could have a better game to at least try and catch up and put up a challenge. i don't think that jackson wanted the media to be wrong especially on their part. so things started to get a little serious when jackson caught up by the fourth quarter.
but i think krop had just enough left for their star runningback to score a 60 yard run for a touchdown. also after that it was up to the defense to hold the rest of the game because their was a little time left and krop's offense couldn't go back into the game. so with 3 seconds left jackson threw a hail mary pass to the end zone but it was intercepted by the number 8 defensive back which ended the game making krop 4-4. a game well played.

muskies vs wittenburg (varsity)

the season was about to start in just a few weeks but right now it was time for the spring game vs wittenburg. the muskies were fully fired up and ready to play. you could feel their rage and passion flowing towards their veins that's what made things so exciting before the game even started. so things took off as the game began. wittenburg drove the ball to the in zone but that didn't put the muskies down.
they just kept on fighting. as the score got to 14-o things started to look down but Jake burns the quarterback for the muskies hyped thing up with a touchdown pass to Dwight. so the defenses picked it up and got some stop and held things to the fourth quarter but other team had enough left to put one more score on the board. but they tried to put more on but the muskies wasn't letting that happen.
during the end of the games definsive back sebastien ferjuste was having a great game and stopping all the passes and runs to thus leading to the stop wittenburg scoring. the end of the game came and the muskies tried to score once more but things didn't turn out the way they were suppose to but at the end wittenburg got the win but the muskies did put up a good challenge.

texas vs texas a&m

this was one of the games that nobody will ever forget because both teams played down to the wire. both teams were scoring back to back and both teams were exhausted and i think that they left everything they had on the field. michael crabtree struggled a little bit but he is a very physical receiver that's why he is one of the best receivers in the nfl now and he's very under rated.

the game started out as a defensive game. which means that both the defenses weren't allowing neither offenses to score on eachother and both of the defensive sides held out to the second half. that's why things were looking kind of shakey for both teams and the reason they played extremely well.

the fourth quarter came down to the wire as texas a&m had the ball with a little bit of time left and texas defensive was holding on majorly and as they had ten yards left crabtree caught a great pass that almost went out of bounce and made it just enough and in time to score the winning touchdown to lead teas a&m to a great victory.

muskinum vs heidleburg(varsity)

this was a great day for the muskies. i believe that since it was the last game of the year the muskies didn't want to come with a lost and with the rank of being fifth in the OAC was a very big thing to the coaches and the team. as always things always started out a little shaky in the beginning of the game but the muskies kept their composure to keep things going.

Heidelberg had a huge receiver and was causing problems all game because he had a slight advantage over the other defensive backs. but today that specific player didn't start effecting the team until the second half. Dennis hicks and Derrell Henley had a good game but things got a little shaky during the fourth.

the 6-5 receiver was back in action by catching two major passes leading Heidelberg to a score of 21-27. so they got the ball back and tried to do the same and almost got a score out of it but did not succeed. the last past to the endzone was stop by dennis hicks but they kicked a field goal then after they tried to get the ball back by kicking an onside kick but didn't succeed and that ended the game with a score of 24-30.

muskingum(jv) vs capital

This was a great day and game for the muskies. as the week progress varsity had taken a horrifying lose to capital but our jv had also but wasn't going to lose twice to capital in one season. so the day came and you could see the hunger in everyone's eyes for that win to lead to 6-2. the game started with the kickoff and the muskies had the ball first with a good run to put the ball in a good place for the offense.
The muskies was off to a great start with a 2 touchdown lead over capital but little did we know we got to confident. capital gained a extreme amount of momentum and responded to the muskies with 2 touchdowns to tie the game. a little nervousness began to show but the muskies kept their composure and played the game the way it was suppose to be played. so the offense did a good drive but didn't score and kicked a field goal making the score 14-17.
The third quarter took place and both teams played defense real well. until it came to the fourth quarter and both teams momentum began to go off the roof's but as i expected the muskies had just enough energy to take the game away from capital with a long drive which led to a score to make the score 21-30. in addition the muskies defends took control of the game one more time with a interception to rap the game up in lead to muskies to what they expected all along...a great victory of 21-30 and a record of 6-2. what will they do next.

muskingum vs otterbein

the day began as any other. sunny but cold, cloudy but windy just like any other. the muskies had just taken a horrible lost to capitol because they did not come out ready to play. i guess they had to learn that the hard way but hopefully that won't happen again. so as time went by and the game got closer and closer the enthusiasm was building because everybody was so anxious to play.

the moment finally came as the game was about to begin. everyone had an angry look to their face. as otterbein has already lost to the muskies once they did not hope for another that coming afternoon. so the game began and the muskies took the lead early but during the first quarter their was a little incident between to of the opposite teams as two of the players got into a fight after a running play. the starting cornerback for the muskies sebastien ferjuste made a great play but i guess it was to much for the other team.

so as sebastien sat out for the rest of the quarter to calm his nerves the muskies kept things going with another touchdown which led to halftime. so as the third quarter began and sebastien was put back in the game he started things off with an interception which led to a touchdown for the muskies. as otterbein regained possession of the ball sebastien boosted his confidence with another interception which led to another touchdoen for the muskies but as he was running for the in zone he was brutally tackled thus putting him out for the rest of the game.

the muskies had lost a great player but had to move on. otterbein started to gain confidence and began to come back in the nick of time. during the fourth quarter otterbein took the lead woth 55 seconds left on the clock but the muskies didn't lose hope. they muskies battled hard but finally scored with 16 second s left on the clock thus ending the game with a score of 35-27 leading the muskies to a victory and a record of (5-2).

muskies vs wittenbug (jv squad)

It was on Monday of this week when our JV played Wittenburg our greatest challenge yet. At that moment we were 2-0 and hoping to come out with a victory leading us into 3-0 but things didn't quite turn out that way. so the game started and we started off a little shaky but we took a timeout and regained our composure. now I'm not going to lie but i believe they were a little tough but not to a level were they're better than us. our offense did not come to play at they're best because in the other games that we played they had a lot more accomplishments. In addition we stayed in touch with them all game. neither of us could score or intercept the ball. both defenses were playing very well but if completed all the imperfections the game would've went a lot of different. so as the game went on for hours we moved on quarter, to quarter, to quarter. so finally we arrived to the fourth quarter but by that time the muskies were finally able to put some points on that board with a field goal kick to put up 3 points. now it wasn't much but it helped, and it was better than nothing. now this was the moment of truth for both teams. it was down to the wire for the both teams and only a couple minutes left on the clock. so as the game went on the defense did their last drive with plenty of momentum. the crowd was enjoying the game, the audience and the team was chanting defense and as they expected we shut them down. so now it was the offense turn to just hold the ball and run out the clock to reach the end of the game but surprisingly the most horrible thing happened the offense fumbled the ball and their defense picked up the ball and ran it back to the in zone for a touchdown making the score 6-3 with only a couple of seconds left on the clock but of course that wasn't enough which ended up being the very first lost for the muskies.
